Mrs. Eugene of Hope Empowerment has been instrumental in my life since I was very young. She taught me life skills and principles that I have been able to use throughout all of my schooling and life in general. Early on, I didn’t do well in school. She helped build my confidence and developed a drive in me that helped me to advance in my studies. I graduated from high school with honors and went on and did well in college. I used that drive to get me in graduate school and eventually law school. Today, I practice law. I will always remember that she role modeled having good ethics, working hard, giving back and helping those less fortunate. Although I represent high-end clients, I am driven by this model and I give back to my community excitedly.
