HOPE EMPOWERMENT has helped my grandson a lot! He has been going there for four years now. As grandparents, we needed help and asked if the center could help us with our grandson. We knew that things were different now than they were when we raised our children, and that our grandson would face challenges much different than our children did. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene and the entire staff took my grandson under their wings and worked with him, while helping us as grandparents, too. The phrase, “IT TAKES A VILLAGE” truly describes HOPE EMPOWERMENT AND STAFF. They not only understand the meaning of this phrase, they also put it into practice. We enjoy the monthly VILLAGE NIGHT dinners where we get to go have dinner with our grandson and other families along with the staff. They make us feel like family at HOPE EMPOWERMENT. I am truly thankful for HOPE EMPOWERMENT and I always tell others about what they offer. They are there to help our children, not to judge them, and definitely are willing to encourage them to do their best. HOPE EMPOWERMENT is definitely an asset to our community.
My grandson’s grades have improved tremendously; especially in Math. He received special recognition at his school in Math. With their help, he has more determination now than he has had before. It certainly makes it better for us as grandparents.
